Tauraroa Area School

Tauraroa Area School participated in the EMR programme in term 4 of 2007 with Whangarei coordinator, Kim Boyle.  Highlights included a visit to the Whangarei Harbour Marine Reserve at Reotahi followed by a visit to the Goat Island marine reserve near Leigh/Warkworth.  Students thoroughly enjoyed the snorkelling and learning more about New Zealand's marine reserves and rich  biodiversity.
